Welcome and Invocation

Reading – Psalm 23

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
    He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters.
    He restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness
    for his name’s sake.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
    I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
    your rod and your staff,
    they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me
    in the presence of my enemies;
you anoint my head with oil;
    my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
    all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord
    forever.

Song

Verse 1:
I want Jesus to walk with me.
I want Jesus to walk with me.
All along my pilgrim journey,
Lord, I want Jesus to walk with me.

Verse 2:
When I’m worried, Lord walk with me.
When I’m worried, Lord walk with me.
All along my pilgrim journey,
Lord, I want Jesus to walk with me.

Verse 3:
In my trials, Lord walk with me.
In my trials, Lord walk with me.
When my heart is almost breaking,
Lord, I want Jesus to walk with me.

Verse 4:
When I’m in trouble, Lord walk with me.
When I’m in trouble, Lord walk with me.
When my head is bowed in sorrow,
Lord, I want Jesus to walk with me.

Sermon

Response to the Message – Apostle’s Creed

Say this together as a family!

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth.

And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the  virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell. The third day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From thence He will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

The music, prayers, and Sermon on Psalm 23, were just what we need to get through these difficult times.

    Thanks for providing us with this service. The message came strong and clear.
    We are not alone!
    In our time of most need, a time of insecurity, a time when what to do seems unclear, the Lord will comfort us and show us the way as you have done today.

    Greetings to you all, our brothers and sisters in Christ. Oh, how we miss you! Thanks to you Pastor Neil, Carol, Ryan, Caitlin, and Christine for this very moving and emotional online worship service. We especially liked the young peoples’ reading of the 23 Psalm. You all touched our hearts and gave us hope in Jesus for today and the days ahead. May our powerful Father lovingly surround us with His comfort and peace. For now, we’ll e-hug!
